Cats last night:

Gracie (one year and four months old): paws TiTi’s (six years old) paw.

TiTi pulls her own arm away.

Gracie puts her paw on top of TiTi’s paw.

TiTi pulls it away.

Repeat four more times. My stomach clenches waiting for the fight. This is exciting stuff.

Gracie then turns over on her back, reaches her arms over her head and grabs TiTi’s very fluffy tail, covering Gracie in fur.

TiTi: smack-“Stop it!”

Gracie runs.

Today:

Gracie was licking Meesha’s arm.

Me: Meesha-do you like that?

Meesha: It’s OK but she better not get any closer

Gracie: says she “likes how Meesha smell,” tries to get closer.

Meesha: “Do not.” “Grrr.”

Gracie runs

Poor kid, she can’t help herself.
